Probing into algorithm for storage garbage collection

The algorithms of storage garbage collection commonly adopted for single microprocessor systemsreference (quote) counting method, marker dropping method, marker compacting method, and copy stopping method are probed, each several merits and demerits are analyzed, and some optimal methods are proposed. Finally, it is analyzed how to choose an appropriate algorithm for a practical application.
