Solutions to Comprehensive Service System Concerning Water Quality Monitoring Based on WebGIS

Water quality monitoring is the basis of water resources protection and management.Taking information system developing in the Hydrographic Office of Guangdong Province as an example,the paper analyzes the background,purpose and principles of the system developing of water quality monitoring,designs the system in light of state and industry standards,and puts forward ideas of building water quality datum service central platform,improving systems of client-oriented water quality analysis and evaluation,mobile tasks and warning,so as to develop a comprehensive water quality monitoring service system based on WebGIS.The development and application of the comprehensive system is of great significance to improving water quality monitoring,water quality analysis,water quality forecast,data sharing,and to overall service and technical support for water resource sustainable utilization.
