The Influence Diagram is a new effective graphical language the represents complex uncertain decision making problems. With a complete mathematical concept; and complete description of probability assessment, alternative schemes,decision maker's preference and information states,the influence diagrams are incomparably superior to decision trees and have been widely applied to decision analysis and uncertainty inference in many domains as a modeling aid, a means of representation and inference, and an efficient framework of probability computation.
