Analysis and countermeasure for damage of impulsive stage gland of 300MW steam turbine

Problems and damages existing in improved impulsive stage gland of domestically-made imported 300MW steam turbine in ShengZhen Energy Group are discussed in the paper and relevant countermeasures are given.Damage cause analysis which can gives reference to the same type domestic steam turbines are presented to ensure economic safety operation of current domestic key units.
