Research of free page management way in MMDB

In MMDB the basic storage unit is page. The case of free page management directly influences the system performance and efficiency. This is very evidence,especially when the data set is large and there are many kinds of data organizations. Two different management ways about free pages in MMDB,one is the available space table,another is the bit-map table are discoursed on. Two different kinds of data structures are described,and management policy of free pages is discussed. Effective and referenced evidence are provided for different system to choose database management.
