Strong convergence theorems for asymptotically nonexpansive mappings

In this paper,we introduce a new iterative scheme for finding a common fixed point for a asymp-totically nonexpansive semigroup in a real Banach space with uniformly Gateaux differentiable norm possessing uniform normal structure.It is shown that under suitable conditions by the iterative approximation algorithms,some strong convergence theorems for approximating to this common fixed points are proved.The results pre-sented in this paper extend and improve the corresponding results.
