Study and Practice of ODS Metamodel Based on CWM

The ODS plays an important role in tri-level architecture DB-ODS-DW data warehouse system,but the cost of traditional construction strategy and metadata management in ODS is high,and the mutual operations between different merchant data warehouse and analysis service tools are difficult.Taking the special equipment inspection organization as the background,the special equipment accident analytical requirements as the actuation,an ODS metamodel construction technology based on common warehouse metamodel is proposed,and then the JMI is used to implement this kind of metamodel.This method enhances the reusability of the model,provides the public exchange mechanism to various tools,and also reduces the development cost.
