CRMAC : A Energy-efficient and Low-latency MAC Protocol for Wireless Sensor Networks

Qiu Zhao-cun · Journal of Chongqing University of Science and Technology · 2008

Taking account of the demand of wireless sensor networks(WSN),the article provides a energy-efficient and low-latency MAC protocol:CRMAC(channel reservation mac protocol). This protocol divides the time of working into channel reservation time and data transmission time.In reservation time, the node which need send data notifies others and make a data transmission schedule. In data transmission time, only scheduled nodes are awake and others remain sleeping.
