Aiming at the high requirement of real-time communication application environment of wireless sensor networks,a low-latency reservation-feedback MAC(RF-MAC) protocol, which is based on channel reservation and feedback is proposed. In this MAC protocol, when a node is needed to send a data,a channel reservation message is firstly transmitted. Each node dispatches its data according to the reserved time list. The following data's transmission is realized by using the method of sending feedback information to the source node during this process.Simulation results show that RF-MAC protocol has a good effect in reducing the data's transmission latency of wireless sensor networks, and it also improves the packets' loss ratio and the throughput of the network.
