Underwater Explosion and Safety Supervision in AB-Section of Ce-zi Island Waterway

There are two shallow areas in AB-section of Ce-zi island waterway,which depth is less than the waterway′s design depth of 25.0 m,they must be sweept before the operation of sinopec crude oil wharf.Owing to the average water depth more than 25.0 m and the average flow rate more than 1.4 m/s in this region,the drilling vessel equipped with four rigs is used to drill and blast the reef.The blast scheme,construction methods,safety protection and monotoing of deep water drilling and blasting are discussed,some experinces in deep water area have been accumulated for similar construction.
