Simulation and Measurement of Extended WLAN Based on OPNET

Extended WLAN is a network in which the workstations communicate with each other and with nodes outside their LAN through the Access Point(AP).This paper describes investigation and simulation of the Extended WLAN based on OPNET Modeler,including the measurement the performance of WLAN with NetIQ Chario and Network stumbler through settting up a WLAN.Finally,by comparing theoretical and practical results,the performance of WLAN is presented.
