Xia Yuan-you · Rock and Soil Mechanics · 2003
A method of slope stability evaluation is presented using case-based reasoning based on practical slope and engineering experience. First, a new kind of utility function, which changes evaluation values with different dimensions and different kinds of indexes into values in range of [-1,1] with no dimension, is presented, and the relationships of evaluation values is made to be linear, so the principle of 搑eward good and penalize bad?is emphasized better. Second, a calculating similarity method is defined, and it can show the distance and difference between cases better. it is shown from application results that the method is simple and practical.
