Research and realization of electronic chart system based on MapObjects

The main idea of this paper is to apply MapObjects to the development of electronic chart system,and its feasibility is analyzed.A display platform was designed and developed by use of MapObjects.It can complete the functions such as the basic operations for electronic chart,the management of layers,the drawing of layers and the query of electronic chart elements.
