Database and Network Construction in the Simulation System of South-to-North Water Transfer Project

The simulation system of the South-to-North Water Transfer Project is known as a great simulation system in China, which is composed of many individual function modules. Database management and network configuration system is one of the important subsystems, which creates the bases for the whole control system. This paper puts its emphasis on how to create a suitable DB structure and compatible network in order to support the running of the whole system. As an example, a designing method is given for the water price determination.
