Research on the Precision and Stability of the Solution of GPS Cors
Bai Liu · 2005
The requirements for precision and stability of the solution of CORS are usually different when it is used for different serving object and purpose. In this paper, the corelation between the precision of CORS solution and the amount of data used to generate the solution is investigated by using the original observation data of Victorian GPS Continuously Operating Reference Stations Network (Australia),GPS precise data processing software and statistic analysis method. It is demeonstrated that the corelation between the precision of GPS network solution and the amount of data can be expressed by using non- linear equation. The precision of solutuion is quickly improved along with the increase of amount of data if it is within 6 hours. When the mean baseline length of a GPS network is more than 1- 000- km,the precision and stability within 6 hours solution is lower. The solution tends to become stable after the amount of data is longer than 12 hours. The stability of 24 hours solution (single day solution) is very high. The results also show that the solution of GPS network converges at single day solution along with the increase of amout of data.
