The Implementation of ACELP Speech Coding Algorithm Based on DSP Device

This paper analyzes algebraic codebook excitation linear prediction (ACELP) algorithm, presenting an implementing scheme of ACELP based on digital signal processing (DSP). First this paper introduces the principle of ACELP, then the relation between linear prediction (LP) coefficient and line spectrum pair (LSP) is provided. Finally a block diagram of DSP based ACELP implementing scheme is given. Experiments show that output speech has a high quality.
