Rule-based machine translation technology review

This paper reviews the text processing,text analysis,dictionary structure,dictionary lookup and semantic disambiguation techniques of rule-based machine translation.Finally,rule-based machine translation technology is difficult to satisfactorily solve the problem because of the choice of word meaning,the level of segmentation,the inherent structure of the special sentence.Only the development of new translation technology will make machine translation quality reach to the practical level.
