A Moving Shadow Detection Method based on Shadow Properties

A shadow detection and removal method based on shadow properties is presented in this paper.First of all,we decide the existence of a shadow using the lighting-based assessment method.If the shadow exists,then we determine its direction and calculate its properties,before detecting the point of shadow based on those properties.Shadow detection and removal become more accurate thanks to the use of shadow properties.
