Study on web map tile service based on RESTful

The significance of the web map tile service and a trend of popular WebGIS products are analyzed according to some current WebGIS products and the tile caching technology.At the same time,some valuable contents of OGC WMTS standard(1.0.0).Based on RESTful design principle are expounded,the URL of WMTS with HTTP GET manner is designed.Furthermore,the implementation flow of OGC web map tile service is introduced and the architecture is designed.The paper is most helpful on how to actualize OGC web map tile service.
