Control System Performance Diagnosis:Higher-order Statistics Method

Due to the poor performance of control systems will induce machine and manufacture process abnormity and products quality drop,through analysis of the tension control system in the tail of the conveyer of some factory,the performance diagnosis of control systems are studied,and the cause of the poor control systems performance is analyzed using higher-order statsitics(HOS) method.The relative diagnosis mehod is presented and applied to an actual industrial system.The result shows that higher-order statistics includs plentiful information,which could reflect efficiently the nonlinear degree and the diagnosis method is feasible and effective.The advantages of HOS in control system performance diagnosis is obvious.
