With the development of information technology, modern military command more and more relies on integrated and clustered military communications systems. However, the battlefield is intricate, especially under the serious jamming by the enemy and the strongly confrontational battlefield environment. Thus, how to ensure the transfer of military intelligences to the commander effectively and timely is very important. In considering the randomness of the data capture at the battlefield and the instability of effective data transmission through the communication network,an end-to-end delay analysis based on stochastic network calculus is proposed. Finally,a stochastic end-to-end delay upper bound is obtained, which provides a real-time guarantee of performance for the effective transmission of information, and a full use of the system resources. This is a significant guide to the military communication systems design and performance improvement.
