Concurrent Control Method Based on Subdivision Lock in Ontology Construction

Collaborative construction of ontology is a very complicated task.It often requires many developers to work collaboratively.However,current ontology development tools and methods are lack of supporting to it.Therefore,a concurrent control method based on lock subdivision is proposed,which divides nodes into some smaller units according to the operations to nodes,making the minimal granularity of lock be the operation unit of nodes,and also subdivides the lock,according to the operation type,locks the correspondent unit.Furthermore,the locking algorithm is designed.Application result shows that this method can effectively improve concurrency and integration of the collaborative development.
