Detection Method of Leakage Current of Surge Protective Device

Surge protective device was an important device in lightning protection of electrical equipment,and the leakage current of SPD was an important indicator in measuring whether it was failure.The leakage current of SPD was detected by using the Hall element,giant magnetoresistance and mutual inductor.The basic principles three methods of were introduced,and the experimental data was measured and analyzed.The advantages and disadvantages of the three measurement methods were summarized.
