HEAT-TRANSFER MATHEMATICS MODEL OF DROPLETS IN GRANULATING TOWER

A simplified quantitative relation between liquid droplet diameter and tower height is established with the help of following means:(1) the rate equation of granule in the flowing air,(2) the heat-transfer relation of Ranz and Marshall between the single granule and flowing air,(3) the energy conservation equation and (4) the heat-transfer rate equation.This study provides easy reference for further research on granulating technology.
