Image enhancement which is also called image pre-processing,can improve the visual quality of the whole and partial image,by transforming the image's data according to some special methods. The image enchancement based on histogram equalization and specification can improve the contrast details and the dynamic range of gray level of the image. The MATLAB experiments demonstrate that the image enchancement based on histogram equalization and specification actually make the image better in vision.
