The Modes of Information Retrieval Based on Internet and the Idea of Optimization

In this thesis,the growth,principle and shortcomings of two kinds of information retrieval modes:hypertext-based and search engine-based mode are discussed.In accordance with the problems now existing and information resources'characteristics on Internet,it simply analyzes the following five improving plans:creating engine databases for special information on Internet,the introduction and using of controlled language,the application of Intelligent Agent,recording search strategy and using semantic-information two-level structural model.
