Triple Correlation Algorithm for the UWB Impulse Echo Signal Detection

Ultra-wide band(UWB) impulse detection is of high property in anti-stealth,which has good application prospect in missile-borne seeker and fuze.The signal detection of UWB is still difficult in UWB impulse echo signal detection.A method of applying triple correlation algorithm to UWB impulse echo signal detection was put forward in this paper.By higher moment handling,signal noise ration was raised effectively,for triple correlation of zero-mean stationary Gaussian process was none and triple correlation achieved the advantages of rotation invariance and position invariance.Simulation results showed that triple correlation method put out a signal with greater signal noise ratio in single polar impulse echo detection than traditional double correlation method.
