Determination of Windings' Turn-to-turn Short of the Transformer with the Current Ratio Method

In the light of the difficult determination of windings' turn-to-turn short often occurring in middle and small sized transformers,this paper introduces the concrete operating procedures of determining windings' turn-to-turn short of the transformer with the current ratio method through two typical examples, and points out some matters needing attention.
