Study on Admission control algorithm of cellular systems based on QoS

Radio admission control is one of the crucial processes in 3G communication systems.It will affect the quality of service(QoS) when a user uses the mobile device to transmit voice and data in 3G mobile communication systems.The architecture of uplink access control based QoS guarantee is promoted to adapt unique characteristics of the services in WCDMA systems,and a new algorithm-PCD(Priority Code based Diffserv) algorithm is proposed.The characters are that it assigns the policy based on the classification of the services and the QoS level,supporting a large user population with a reasonable level of QoS,and efficient solution to uplink access control.The singling of real/non-real time services are designed,and the new algorithm is simulated and contrasted with the foregone admission control algorithm.
