Attack model based on both-branch fuzzy decision-making and fuzzy Petri net

Based on both-branch fuzzy decision-making and fuzzy Petri net(FPN),a new network attack model named both-branch fuzzy Petri-net attack net(BBFPAN)was put forward;the facilitating and suppressing factors to network attack were analyzed in this attack model. In order to make fine distinction between actions and effects of attack, the process of attack and defense actions were depicted as places of FPN and the system states were depicted as transitions. The changes of network attack states could be represented directly. The factors of the input place set were also used as decision-making factors and transitions were viewed as decisions. The attribute of the output place set could be determined through the both-branch fuzzy decision-making analysis.Furthermore,a reasoning algorithm was proposed, which employed the uncertain consequence method. The effectiveness of the algorithm was verified by experiment. The pro-and-con factors that have effect on attack were taken into consideration together so that a closer network attack description to reality could be made.
