Application and Implementation of Virtualization Technology in Desktop Management

In the process of enterprise informationization, the enterprise desktop management faces various difficulties such as complex application environments, low management integration level, terminal security hard to assure, etc. The virtual desktop can both guarantee user's personalization and realize facile and uniform management, which brings new future into the enterprise desktop management. In addition, the core components and functions of VMware View, a product of the VMware Company, are introduced in this paper. The new changes on the aspects of cost, management and security brought by VMware View to the enterprise are also presented.
