The objective functions and constraint conditions in an actual multi-objective decision-making problem have nonlinear feature.Based on the step method,a new interactive multi-objective decision-making method is proposed in this paper. In the method, the distance between objective function and ideal solution is denoted by Tchebycheff distance. In the mean time, the mini-max decision rule and multi-agent genetic algorithm are applied to find the set of preferred solutions. The preference of decision-maker such as expected objective function and weight can be gradually included to narrow down the final solution. The instance results show that the proposed method is effective and feasible with simple principle when applied to hydraulic project planning.
