Design and Realization of Disk Isolation System Supporting Multi-reverting Points

【Abstract】This paper proposes a software design idea of the disk isolation system that supports multi-reverting points. Disk filter drive is designed to filter users’ operations for reading and writing. Work mapping table is designed to ensure that the request for reading and writing to the same logical block address can be mapped to different physical block addresses, so that the function of isolation is implemented. Reverting point mapping table is designed to replace the current work mapping table with the work mapping table saved by reverting points, by means of which the role of reverting is achieved. Experimental result indicates that the system can implement the functions of isolation and reverting, and it runs steady. 【Key words】Windows file system; disk filter drive; disk allocation table; work mapping table; reverting point mapping table
