Research and implementation of separation of data presentation in web from data processing

The separation of data presentation from data processing is a fundamental principle in web design.The concepts of Java,XML,DOM and XSL are first introduced to construct a four-tiered architecture with web server,application server at the core while the client and database at the ends.The four technologies are coordinated and integrated with each other by representing their respective per-formance,which contributes to the complete separation of data presentation from data processing.Finally,the prominent merits of this coordinating pattern are summarized.
