ANALYSIS OF OPEN-PIT MINING BLASTING VIBRATION SIGNALS USING WAVELET PACKET METHOD

The traditional Fourier Transform theory could hardly analyze blasting vibration signals accurately,but wavelet packet analysis with excellent time-frequency localization trait could be well deal with the blasting seismic wave,such as signal decomposition and energy analysis.Based on basic principles of wavelet packet transform theory,theoretical analysis of the blasting vibration signal energy analysis approach has been discussed.Combined with application examples,the vibration signals frequency band was divided into several important series by using wavelet packet method and obtained the energy distribution and change of every frequency band,and then determined the changes in seismic wave attenuation in a special topography.
