Study and DSP Implementation of an RPE-LPT Coding Algorithm for Voice Information

According to the GSM standard, we research the RPE-LTP algorithm which has excellence characteristic for digital voice compress in the GSM system deeply, study and analyse the working principle of the RPE-LTP coder carefully. Then after describing every part of the RPE-LTP coder's function and the idiographic algorithm, use TMS320VC5409 DSP from TI company and AT91M63200 MCU from ATMEL company to build the hardware testing system. After testing the coding algorithm on the hardware, obtained the satisfying results.
