DOA Estimation in Spatially Non-uniform Noise Environment
Xie Ming-xiang · Radio Engineering · 2010
A new method for direction-of-arrival estimation in the presence of spatially non-uniform noise is presented, which combines the advantage of NLA(non-uniform linear array)with elements symmetrically placed along the array centre and that of the method in [6].The proposed method can resolve closely spaced uncorrelated sources because of larger aperture of NLA and realize the estimation of sources containing a pair of coherent signals with higher resolvability at lower SNR threshold by means of spatial smoothing.Computer simulations show that the proposed scheme is effective.
