Reverse Flow and Cross Flow in Classification
Hong Ye · Mining and Metallurgical Engineering · 2000
The direction of force acted upon particles and the direction of medium flow in classification process have been investigated. It is shown that there exist two different forms of classifications: reverse classification and cross classification. The classification mechanism, factors affecting on classification size, classification efficiency, energy consumption in the reverse flow and cross flow processes are also investigated.
