Application of Matching Template in Radar Signal Recognition

When a radar adopts low probability of interception(LPI) technology,especially under the condition of low SNR,traditional radar signal recognition based on parameter distillation will lose its effect.Digital receiver's development inaugurates new methods in signal interception and recognition.If radar signals were intercepted and analyzed successfully during intelligence reconnaissance in advance,radar IF sampling data could be stored for making matching templates.When the signal appears again,even if the SNR is lower,matching template can achieve matching interception.Interception and recognition are completed at the same time.Real intercepted radar signals are made into matching templates for computer simulation.When one of the radar signals appears again,it can be intercepted successfully by matching template.Experiments validates that this method is effective and feasible.
