Challenge and Countermeasure for Streaming Media Application

Streaming media data would become main body of transfers on the network, but the work mode adopted by the Internet is best-effort service, which disclaims ensuring the need of low delay and high bandwidth of streaming media. Aiming at low usable bandwidth, high lose data rate, long delay, dynamic dithering, different structure of network and terminal unit of the Internet, this paper introduces correspond methods to ensure the serving quality of streaming media.
