Application of fault diagnosis to equipment based on modified D-S evidential theory

The fault diagnosis based on evidential theory with multi-sensors and multi-means is increasingly used.However,it doesn′t indicate how to assign the basic probability,and is still inadequate in the fusion results.The probability assignments and the fusion methods were discussed,and the characteristics such as negativity and sensitivity of the DS evidence theory were handled to a certain extent.
