With the popularization and development of Intemet technology, the real time data publication based on B/S structure already becomes an important function in real time information system. As an XML-based network vector graphics format, SVG has many advantages over other graphics formats. According to the SVG' s technical characteristics, this paper studies the integration of SVG and real time database, and presents a model of real time data publication. The model adapts to the B/S structure, and has good prospect. The key point is to refresh the svg's file at intervals. An instance illustrates that the approach has better practical performance, and effectively decreases the network overload and reduces the response time of user interface.
