Research of the Methods for Testing the Robustness of Network Application Software

Testing is an important way to improve robustness. For network applications, security and robustness are essential qualities. This article presents a new testing method which focuses on the behaviours of network interfaces when they receive abnormal data. Through the load testing and fault tolerance testing on network interfaces, we can inspect the robust performances of them. It assures us of dealing with abnormal inputs correctly and improving system's security and reliability.
