Research on the Torpedo Sinker of Ellipse-like Body of Streamline and its Standardization and Systematization

The rule on the standardization of the line type is sound in theory and feasible in the practical use． The transverse fluctuation is minimized in water and designed simple． The external form is fit for not only surveying discharge but also sampling of bed material and suspended sediment． Basing on the basic principle of the fluid mechanics this paper has chosen the optimum parameters of geometry and proposed the Torpedo sinker of ellipse like of streamline． It has provided a new way for standardization of Torpedo sinker and been proved by relevant theory and practice．
