Design and Implementation of Sign Segmentation of Chinese Sign Language

Sign language is one of the important communication mediums of deaf /hard- of- hearing people in China,so developing sign language segmentation system can contribute greatly to the life of hearing- impaired people. The text segmentation of sign language is based on the Chinese text segmentation,it means computer need to recognize and segment the text. It includes basic automatic segmentation method,ambiguity processing,etc. Every module assists each other,depends on each other,and together determines the value and quality. To segment Chinese Sign language,the paper uses the sign language dictionary,combined with the context of sign language to further improve the content of the split,and then sign language synthesis system verifies the effect of the split- up word. These three methods play their respective advantages and result in an excellent sign language segmentation system.
