Comparative study of performance of LDPC codes and Turbo codes in image transmission

This paper introduces the development,definition,encoding and decoding methods of LDPC codes and Turbo codes.LDPC codes and Turbo codes are compared and analyzed,the result shows that LDPC codes have better performance than turbo codes.Finally,the paper compares the application of LDPC codes and turbo codes in image transmission.
