Optimum design of half band filters for multi-rate narrow band digital filtering

Based on the MATLAB, an optimum design of half band filters is discussed. The high effective implementation is also provided. A FIR half band filter with linear phase is usually adopted, and a IIR half filter with high operation effectivity can also be used according to the application.
