Hydrophobic properties of wooden-base photochromic functional materials

Wooden-base photochromic functional materials expanded the application fields and development directions of wood materials.The photochromic polyvinyl alcohol(PVC) film overlapped on the wood surface was easy to hydrolysis,so the research on its hydrophobic properties was imminent.This paper discussed these effects of the toluene diisocyanate(TDI) content,polyols kinds and content,modified temperatures and modified time on hydrophobic properties of the sample surface.It was concluded that contact angle of the sample surface by the two footwork modified was 133°.The hydrophobic properties of wooden-base photochromic functional materials were increased,which expanded the scope of application of wooden-base photochromic functional materials surface.
