Research on Scheduling Algorithms for Distributed Video Transcoding Service

To solve the problem of task accessing and operated task video sequence segment backward transmission control of distributed transcoding service,through analyzing the feature of resource occupation of video transcoding and the process of stream media service,a feedback based optimal video transcoding task assignment algorithm and a novel task segment data transmission control scheme for smooth stream service providing to clients are proposed in this article.The results of experiment show that the self-adaptive request access strategy can choose the most suitable task version for the clients according to their channel quality feedback and the transmission control scheme will take a lower task failure rate under the limited client video buff condition.
