Application of parallel and distributed processing technology in field of hydroinformatics based on GIS

In order to process the mass data for the study of the water information,a concept on the construction of the water resources management information system is put forward by taking the GIS as the research platform based on the technique of parallel and distributed processing.The design concept and method for the system concerned are presented and then the solution plan for the system with the functions such as organization,analysis and management of the mass information data is explained as well.On the whole,a new study method is given herein for the data ming within the field of the water information research.
